The First Day
On my first night in Lebanon I headed out to the ABC Mall, it was amazing I loved the design of the mall, the way they use fresh air instead of A/C and that the Gahwa’s are up stairs are just well placed. So I decided to go to movies, I watched The Kingdom. It was a good movie a lot of effort has been put in to making this movie, but I didn’t like the cast that much! Jennifer Garner is a great actress, her role was amazing same goes to Jamie Foxx, but the rest is just whack!

Now lets talk about Lebanon, it’s beautiful and a great place, but after having a couple of chats with my personal driver and the people I have met, I realized that Lebanon is living in depression! I have wittiness it today and the day before! It went like this, while I was in the car I noticed a guy lying on the road (his lets have been blown up apparently) and he’s asking for some money, it was just heartbreaking I just had to look away! While I was shopping I noticed that if the cashier or the people which are around the place see you pulling a buck there eyes would be all over your wallet, they even keep an eye on you while your eating! I guess thats a sign that the people aren’t living the life they use to live. I’ve been told that Hizb Allah are camping in the Solidaire so I can’t go there because all the shops are closed and every single thing is fucked up! This isn’t the Lebanon that every one has told me about, I hope its gets better. I’ll be going to Al-Mayas restaurant tomorrow, I had Barbar’s chicken Shwarama today It was so good! totally loved it !
