Red Bull FlugTag – Kuwait

Today Yesterday, I woke up kinda late rushed to Marina Mall to witness the event that I’ve been waiting for a while.  When I got to Marina (at 1:00pm) I saw the long lines for the parking so I decided to park at sultan center, walked all the way to Marina Waves then stop and craved some coffee so I went ahead to Marina Crecent, got my coffee and ran to the gate. When I got there I was stopped by this Egyptian security guard, so I planned my great sneak in to base of the So-Called-Planes lol! I found a small tiny place where I was able to squeeze my self to the base. I walked around with a XXXX-L smile on my face, the So-Called-Planes were just too funny and some were to complicated to fly even a meter! There was this group of guys which stole the NASA logo and replaced the NASA thing couple of letters which I don’t recall at the current moment, I saw the Imperial 27 which looks like a coffin which somehow went wrong in the making lol! My all time favorite design in the competition was the Al Khazmey and Bisher Group aka Mercedes-Benz , the SLR that they made was just fantastic! Every bit of detail was done, I bet they spent thousands on that thing!

When the thing started after along delay because of the wind. I finished the coffee and got my self a Red Bull (which was for free) and looked for a perfect spot to watch the event from. I ended up sitting on the sand which kinda messed up my leather shoes, but it was worth it. I didn’t stay for long because the sun was just too hot and I was starving! So sadly I left before even the Mercedes-Benz team. Over all the event was amazing, I hope I’d participate in the next Flugtag.

And wasn’t that blond chick with Mishal Al Shaya just too lame, and her voice is so annoying!
